Main purpose of role:

• Collecting and analysing supply chain data
• Recommending improvements to boost performance and reduce costs
• Coordinating with other professionals to implement changes and new systems

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data
• Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements incl. KPI-tracking
• Monitoring SCM KPIs and evaluating supply chain performance incl. implementation of corrective actions
• Analyze supply chain risks and develop strategies to resolve the issue
• Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects
• Develop SCM requirements and standards (e.g. EOQ, Safety-Stock-Regulation)
• Create performance reports for management to review
• Communicate with other departments within the organization to identify efficiency issues, develop solutions and implement changes
• Assist in the development and the implementation of strategic initiatives

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor or Master in Logistics or Business Administration. Equivalent by experience
• At least 1 year experience in similar position (also internship)
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or similar role
• Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting
• Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g.inventory planning, warehouse management)
• Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, MS Dynamics AX)
• Analytical mind with business acumen
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent language & communication skills in German and English
• Very good communicator with different parties internally and externally
• Open personality willing to embrace changes
• High level of motivation
