Job Description:
. Extensive experience with IBM MQ on z/OS mainframe environments.
. Strong understanding of mainframe systems, including JCL, RACF, and z/OS architecture.
. Install and configure IBM MQ on z/OS.
. Set up MQ objects such as Queues, Channels, Listeners, and processes.
. Configure MQ to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
. Implement and maintain security policies and procedures for MQ.
. Monitor MQ environments using tools and scripts to ensure uptime and reliability.
. Provide day-to-day administration and operational support for MQ.
. Troubleshoot and resolve MQ-related issues and incidents.
. Maintain system documentation, including configuration settings, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
