Klaus K Hotel is located in the heart and center of Helsinki. We are the first Preferred Hotels & Resorts property in Finland. Head Chef – Meeting & Events, Klaus K Hotel
Klaus K Hotel, a relaxed city center hotel on Bulevardi, has been welcoming guests since 2005. The hotel features the Italian restaurant Toscanini, the seasonal Sky Terrace rooftop bar, and Restaurant Monsieur K, which offers a unique culinary experience for our guests. Additionally, the hotel boasts seven meeting rooms, ranging from intimate spaces for 5 people to the impressive Rake Hall, accommodating up to 120 guests.
We are now looking for a full-time Head Chef (112.5 h/month) to join our international top team. In this role, you will ensure exceptional quality in our Meetings & Events customer experience while delivering high-level service and excellent food.

In addition, you are outgoing, flexible, and bring proven experience in a supervisory role. You are innovative, passionate about following industry trends, and eager to bring new ideas to the table.
Your Responsibilities
As the Head Chef, you will oversee the planning, preparation, and execution of culinary services for our Meetings & Events operations. Your role will focus on delivering high-quality dining experiences while ensuring the efficient management of kitchen activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and executing menus tailored to client needs.
  • Leading, motivating, and scheduling the kitchen team.
  • Managing inventory and ordering ingredients.
  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene and quality standards.
  • Maintaining budget and cost-efficiency in kitchen operations.
What We Expect From You
  • Proven leadership experience in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Creativity and a strong understanding of food trends and customer expectations.
  • A positive and solution-oriented mindset with excellent teamwork skills.
  • A valid hygiene passport.
  • Fluent in Finnish or in English.
