Job Description
To provide customer site and internal service and commercial support to the existing JC client base, target clients and the external sales team through consistently high level of mechanical expertise, highly responsive feedback, and outstanding level of client service.

Job Description
To provide customer site and internal service and commercial support to the existing JC client base, target clients and the external sales team through consistently high level of mechanical expertise, highly responsive feedback, and outstanding level of client service.
Responsibilities:
- Provision of onsite service support to customers in terms of installation, trouble shooting and decommissioning / commissioning of John Crane products and attending emergency service jobs.
- Produce comprehensive seal observation/inspection reports with analysis and recommendations.
- Provide strong technical and service support to all customer sites.
- Assist end users during project commissioning.
- Design and implement cost-effcetive equipment modifications to help imporve safety and reliability.
- Manage the John Crane Egypt workshop activities. Repairing mechanical seals in workshop and on site.
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation of service orders.
- Measurements, site surveys and maintain schedule of installations.
- Ensure all activities in John Crane Egypt service center fully comply with the local and company health and safety requirements.
- Analyze, train and monitor the workforce for special processes inlcuding lapping lapping/spray coating/assemby and dismantling seals or cartridges.
- Assist with technical reviews of specific applications to allow the optional selection of John Crane products and services.
- Work closely with stake holders and local team.
- Discuss and solve complex problems with manufacturing departments, subcontractors, suppliers and customers.
- Support sales team to maintain and increase JC market share with key end users and develop territory market.
- Product assessment to enable commercial staff to quote.
- Assist end users during shut down. Service/support ongoing refurbishment contracts with end users.
- Establish good relationship with end users.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience:
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
- 6+ years of professional experience in engineering and field service of mechanical seals, experience working in refinery rotating equipment/maintenance.
- Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment
- Proven track record in project execution and people management
- Extensive knowledge rotating equipment and ability to carry out Failure and Root Cause analyses.
- Strong Commercial and Technical Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and proficient in all these languages are mandatory: English & Arabic
- Confident and able to deal with very challenging situations in a calm and credible manner.
- Adaptable, flexible and appreciative of an array of cultures and customs.
- Team player and willing to travel.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and influence key stakeholders within various disciplines.
- Ability to present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new products and services
