Full Job Description
As the Country Manager for Edgeuno in Ecuador, your primary responsibility will be to lead day to day business operations, sales and marketing strategies with a strong focus on telecommunications, cloud, and enterprise services. You will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, establishing market presence, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
Core Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the telecommunications, datacenter, and cloud sectors. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand market reach. Lead a high-performing sales team to effectively engage with potential clients, close deals, and manage key accounts.
- Marketing and Branding: Develop and execute marketing plans to promote Edgeuno's services and solutions within the target sectors. Position Edgeuno as a thought leader in telecommunications, datacenter, and cloud services through content creation, events, and industry engagement.
- Market Analysis and Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify market opportunities and potential risks. Analyze market data to drive informed decision-making and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the telecommunications, datacenter, and cloud sectors. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the sales and marketing teams to ensure they are motivated and aligned with the company's goals. Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sales and marketing initiatives. Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales performance, market trends, and strategy effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in sales and marketing roles within the telecommunications, datacenter, and cloud industries.
- Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies, and customer needs.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and managing high-performance teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Results-driven approach with a track record of achieving sales targets.
