Sr. Release Manager | Columbus Denmark

Are you ready to drive transformative change in a dynamic, global environment? We are looking for a Sr. Release Manager who can streamline project deliveries and ensure smooth transitions!
Location: Ballerup & Aarhus
As a Sr. Release Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the entire spectrum of Release Management and collaborating closely with both the team, other departments, developers and consultants across different countries.
Your ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders will be critical to success, as this role will report to various levels within Columbus. You'll use tools like Azure Dev Ops, Microsoft D365 FO&CE, and Service Now to manage and monitor release activities, making sure all processes are executed efficiently and transparently. In addition, you will deliver within Transition Management, Change Enablement and other relevant services, reporting directly to the Director in Operations Development.
Furthermore, you will also be an important key player in our team. You will lead deliveries to the customer, and ensure that processes run efficiently and contribute to our overall success. At the same time, you are expected to contribute to the development of the team by being a mentor for junior resources, and actively supporting them in their career development.
Your background and experience:
The successful candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field combined with a minimum of 7+ years of experience. This includes:

Your background and experience:
The successful candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field combined with a minimum of 7+ years of experience. This includes:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the technology industry, with hands-on experience in managing release processes
- Relevant certifications in project management, agile methodologies, or ITIL are an advantage
- Software experience, such as Microsoft D365FO & CE, Microsoft Azure Dev Ops, and Office 365
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across geographic teams
- Good language skills. You are able to communicate well in English and Danish with customers and colleagues – both orally and in writing
