At Fertin Pharma, we are committed to developing a new product category with the best cannabinoid products in the world for the benefit of patients suffering from e.g., chronic pain, insomnia, anxiety, and more.

Based at our HQ in Vejle, you will work with highly skilled scientists dedicated to developing superior cannabinoid products. You will play a key role in improving our productivity and ways of working by promoting an agile mindset and establishing Scrum methodologies in our development teams.

What is the job about?

In Fertin Pharma’s cannabinoids category, we have recently embarked on an agile journey to optimize quality and speed in science and innovation activities. To succeed with this, we need an experienced Scrum Master to help lead driving this transformation within multiple innovation teams as part of our agile change management journey.

Your responsibility will be as a Scrum Master to mentor and coach one or more cross-functional development teams, including Product Owner(s). You will guide team and Product Owner to constantly align expectations while delivering progress and improving ways of working. You are committed to promoting a well-functioning working environment, where you carefully remove barriers for the team, promoting a high-performance teams culture.

Your main responsibilities:

Act as mentor and coach to support agile ways of working and an agile mindset, and facilitating Scrum events.

Caring for team health and act/guide the team to ensure they continuously improve the way of working.

Supporting the teams in self-management and becoming autonomous: building up capabilities for working effectively and cross-functionally.

Coaching and mentoring Product Owners in product management, including defining products, prioritizing and organizing product backlogs, developing release plans, forecasting estimates and deliveries, all with the higher purpose of maximizing value and in understanding and practicing agility.

Coaching and mentoring leadership and management in the cannabinoids department as well as outside, increasing the general understanding of agility in Fertin at the leadership level.

Driving change in the organization that increases the productivity of the Scrum Team.

Working closely with other teams in Vejle or globally, delivering to the same program where effective dependency management and removal of impediments is key.

Your background

Certified Scrum Master or equivalent and proven experience with this or generic, servant leadership is crucial to the job. Ideally, you have experience with change management, transforming an organization to embrace and implement agile development methodologies. Knowledge within nutraceutical or pharmaceutical product development will be beneficial, but if you do not have this, we will together develop it.

We imagine that you have:

Min. 3 years of experience with agile organizations and the Scrum framework, including agile transformation (maturing agility by planning and facilitating this change).

Significant experience with change management processes and projects

Experience with scaling agile across an organization.

Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

A desire to build strong relations with a group of highly skilled people as well as learn about the technical initiatives and the pharma space that we work in.

An aspiration to create a strong Scrum Master community together with other SMs at Fertin, learning from and inspiring each other.

Fluently oral and written communication skills in English.
