Join Bang & Olufsen as an Engineering Lead and play a key role in optimizing products and production processes for a world-class brand.

As an Engineering Lead, you will be part of the Value Engineering Team, contributing to the roadmap and driving changes that improve cost efficiency and product quality. Your focus will be on analysing existing product designs, implementing engineering changes, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders to achieve strategic goals.

This role requires a hands-on approach to engineering change management and lifecycle optimization, with a holistic view of design, cost, and production.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Value Engineering initiatives, running workshops internally and with partners.

Analyze existing product designs to identify cost-efficient alternatives and implement improvements.

Act as the Engineering expert within the Value Engineering program, driving decision-making and alignment.

Build and maintain a "should-be" pricing knowledge base to support Value Engineering and New Product Introduction (NPI).

End-to-end responsibility for implementing product changes, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, and strategic objectives.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including procurement, finance, supply chain and production teams.

Contribute to the Value Engineering roadmap and support lifecycle changes to optimize products and processes.

What You Bring
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a mechanical engineering background and experience in engineering change management, value engineering, and production optimization.

Moreover, you bring:
Proven track record in Value Engineering, cost-saving initiatives, and optimization projects.

Strong knowledge of engineering change management, product development, and manufacturing processes, particularly with materials such as metal, aluminum, wood, and glass.

Ability to zoom out to see the bigger picture while maintaining attention to detail for specific projects.

Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from shop floor to C-suite, and fostering collaboration across teams.

A "lean-forward" approach to tackling new challenges and driving meaningful outcomes.

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Travel: 15-25 days a year abroad
