Here is what the job entails
In the position as Client Platform Engineer, you will work closely with other team members on daily operation of our key IT services such as patching and securing our endpoints. Together with other core IT members, you will lay down the foundation for Kamstrup’s IT Client platforms. In addition, you will act as sparring partner with the rest of the IT organization and take part in various improvement projects.

With reference to our People Lead in Digital Workplace Services, you will become part of our internal IT organization, Digitalization, which enables all Kamstrup employees in their daily work. Our IT department consists of 65+ dedicated colleagues supporting all employees globally in Kamstrup. You will join a grounded, tech-savvy team that is characterized by mutual respect, professionalism, and collaboration. We prioritize knowledge sharing in a fast-paced work environment, and we are looking for an equal-minded colleague who likes having fun along the way.

Your educational background is not crucial, but you must have at least 5 years’ experience within client management and a strong track record with endpoint management in large scale or complex environments. As a person, you are curious, self-motivating and have a structured and analytical approach to problem solving. You want to optimize the client area by automation. IT comes naturally for you to take initiative and challenge status quo in your daily projects and tasks as you strive towards optimization.

Here is what the job entails
In the position as Client Platform Engineer, you will work closely with other team members on daily operation of our key IT services such as patching and securing our endpoints. Together with other core IT members, you will lay down the foundation for Kamstrup’s IT Client platforms. In addition, you will act as sparring partner with the rest of the IT organization and take part in various improvement projects.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Managing endpoints, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other endpoints running on various operating systems such as Windows, mac OS, i OS, and Android
- Ensuring timely patching of endpoints
- Creating, deploying, and maintaining software packages for Kamstrup’s IT clients
- Troubleshooting and resolving IT issues in a timely manner

- Endpoint management from Microsoft Intune and SCCM, desktop support and AD and GPO knowledge.
- Endpoint security principles, including antivirus, firewall, encryption, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions
- Power Shell scripting
- Patch management, software distribution, and remote desktop administration tools
- It is a requirement that you are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Moreover Spanish will be considered
