Job Summary
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you are part of the pre-sales and sales team which ensures that customers get the most value out of their connected data. Daily, you use our flagship product, Graph Aware Hume, to show to the potential and existing customers, how it can solve their data analysis challenges and make their graph journey easier.
You are Graph Aware's top expert on Graph Aware Hume and interact closely with the product, data science and engineering teams to stay up to date with the platform's rapid advancement. You use your expertise and experience to design and prototype customer solutions, and bring customer feedback back to the team.
You spend some of your time out in the field as the wing buddy of our sales executives to cover the technical parts of the sales process. You implement required solutions within Hume on clients' projects and ensure they achieve success.

This is what we believe you should know/have to be very successful at this job:
Technical Skills (must haves)

• 3+ years of software development / data science / technical implementation experience
• Strong data analysis or data science experience
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or Java
• Understanding of semantic and/or graph technologies
• Experience with a scripting languages and Linux
• Experience in customer facing environments
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong presentation skills

Bonus technical skills (good to have but you can learn those with us)

• Domain expertise in Law Enforcement, Intelligence, Finance, or Life Sciences
• Knowledge of key Graph database concepts
• Knowledge of basic Cypher query language elements and Neo4j
• Understanding the full stack application development including Dev Ops
• Knowledge of Docker
• Interest in intelligence analysis, law enforcement and similar

• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
