Senior DevOps Engineer/AWS Cloud Architect (m/w/d)

Your responsibilities:

Lead a team of Dev Ops engineers to build, maintain, and enhance an AWS-based analytics platform
Stakeholder management between the customer, team, and Adastra Management. Excellent communication skills and ability to discuss and debate technical topics with the customer
Participate in and contribute to SAFE Agile and Scrum rituals, such as Program Increment planning, Sprint planning, and Stand-up calls
Design highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions on the AWS platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions
Architect, configure, and manage virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, and security groups to ensure a secure and isolated network environment
Implement and manage network connectivity, including VPNs, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway, to establish secure and efficient communication between on-premises and cloud environments
Work in a Dev Ops mode to automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and management using infrastructure-as-code tools like AWS Cloud Formation, Terraform, or Ansible
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud infrastructure, networking, and security domains to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Required Skills, Education, Knowledge and Experience:

Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer focusing on infrastructure, networking, and security
Strong understanding of AWS core services, including EC2, S3, VPC, Route 53, IAM, RDS, and Cloud Watch
Hands-on experience with services like ECS, ECR, EC2, VPC, and Endpoints
Solid understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, routing, and subnetting
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., AWS Cloud Formation, Terraform, or Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and tools like Git, Jenkins, or Docker
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments
Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Architect - Professional) are highly desired
