Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a new team member to join our global center for the production of robotic workstations (EDP – Engineering Delivery Platform) in Mošnov, expanding our current team in the position of “Quality Engineer (m/f)”. Products you will encounter: positioners and welding cells. In this position, you will: • Collaborate with colleagues from various departments and be responsible for managing complaints and supporting production. • Ensure cooperation in resolving complaints across the organization as quickly as possible. • Create/maintain optimal communication channels, develop a quality culture, and create processes leading to the elimination of customer complaints. For more information about our global center for the production of robotic workstations (EDP – Engineering Delivery Platform), click the link below: https://new.abb.com/products/robotics/cs Job Responsibilities: • Actively resolve complaints towards suppliers and support production. • Lead supplier audits and collaborate with SCM on the qualification process of new/alternative suppliers. • Define the annual audit plan and regularly monitor suppliers. • Define and manage APQP/PPAP and prepare appropriate documentation for purchased parts. • Set the level of incoming quality control and define control areas. • Be part of the change process from R&D and, if necessary, test pieces in production. • Adapt/modify products according to customer requirements. • Create internal documents (work instructions, quality forms), conduct internal audits. • In the case of a new product generation, be part of the team led by R&D, participate in DFMEA, and provide feedback for the production site, participate in testing new parts/products.

Qualifications for the role

• Who we are looking for:
• Experience in supplier and production quality.
• Experience with supplier audits.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Experience with machined and welded parts.
• Experience with 8D reports.
• Enjoy testing in production.
• Ability to communicate in English (min. B2) – communication with units in Sweden, China, and Mexico.
