At Transition X Europe (transitionx.eu), we’re expanding and seeking ESG & Sustainability Consultants to join our dynamic team. If you bring expertise in areas such as Double Materiality Assessment (DMA), sustainability reporting (CSRD, GRI, ISSB), ESG strategy, ESG ratings, or related fields, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities (Flexible depending on background and expertise):
· Double Materiality Assessment: Conduct and analyze assessments, engage in stakeholder workshops for identifying Impact and Risk Opportunities (IROs), define assessment methodologies, and summarize findings.
· CSRD Compliance: Contribute to the creation of CSRD roadmaps and action plans to support client compliance, and ensure clients understand the technical requirements and benefits of CSRD. You may need knowledge of voluntary standards too (GRI, ISSB).
· Data Collection and Management: Collect and manage ESG data from diverse departments and sources, maintain databases on our user-friendly platform, develop dashboards for stakeholder use, and support data assurance processes with external auditors.
· Environmental Impact & Carbon Footprint: Develop a double materiality matrix, measure environmental impact (including carbon assessments and green taxonomy), and advise on GHG emissions, carbon accounting standards, and environmental regulations.
· ESG Ratings advisory: DJSI, MSCI, FTSE4Good, CDP, Eco Vadis, ISS.
Requirements:
· At least 2 years of experience in ESG consulting.
· Hands-on experience with CSRD and/or other reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, ISSB, and TCFD.· Experience implementing systems to support sustainability standards and disclosures within consultancy roles.
· Solid understanding of environmental regulations and carbon accounting standards (e.g., GHG Protocol, CDP, ISO 14064).
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret complex data.· Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
· Proficiency in Czech and English is required; additional languages such as Spanish, French, Portuguese, or Italian are valued.
