Your Role
As an Experienced Brand (Graphic) Designer at Gensler, you will tap into your boundless creativity to design unique environmental experiences across a diverse media landscape. You are passionate about helping clients enhance their brand and business performance through design, and adept at developing creative, up-front design concepts. What You Will Do
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team of architects and designers to design graphics, branded environment, signage and wayfinding solutions that connect people to place for diverse client projects
- Conduct research for the organizational, cultural and physical context surrounding a project
- Generate multiple initial concepts and develop viable, documented design solutions that help solve a variety of problems for our clients
- Integrate messaging, color, imagery, type and composition into two and three-dimensional built environments
- Prepare final documentation and production-ready artwork for 3D/EGD, print, or digital applications
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to design visual identities, graphics, print collateral, digital communications, branded environments, signage and wayfinding solutions for diverse client projects
- Collaborate with clients, design teams and other graphic designers across multiple industries
- Facilitate great design results by cultivating and maintaining positive client and team relationships
- Perform as point of contact on projects for clients, vendors, and teams
- Manage multidisciplinary project team workload for multiple projects
- Create and manage project scopes, budgets and workplans
- Assist in the development of proposals and collaborate in the strategic development of new business
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, industrial design, environmental design, architecture, visual communication or related field
- 7+ years of professional experience in graphic design, print/digital design, or similar studio experience
- 100% bilingual English/Spanish, well written with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read architectural construction documents and shop drawings
- Totally client- and team-oriented, knows how to balance demands for time and resources
- Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills
- Experience in marketing, writing and delivering proposals for project work
- Ability to perform innovative qualitative research to generate ideas, concepts, and POV
- Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, In Design, and Photoshop – very strong Adobe skills are required
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable in internal and external client facing situations
- Familiarity with CAD and Revit preferred
