Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Lead to oversee production processes within our food processing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with a focus on food safety and quality assurance.
Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of production line workers to ensure efficient workflow.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the production area.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.
• Train new employees on proper operating procedures and safety practices.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report any discrepancies to management.

Requirements

• Previous 1-2 year's experience in a leadership role within the food processing industry is required.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and production calculations.
• Forklift certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
