We are currently searching for an Intermediate Accountant to join us in Saskatoon, SK. Our Intermediate Accountant is responsible for preparing and monitoring budgets, analyzing costs, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations (banks, fixed assets, liabilities).
• Prepare expense account analysis.
• Conduct balance sheet and intercompany expense reconciliation.
• AP: Provide guidance to the finance team and review purchase orders and invoices.
• AR: Enter invoices and process client payments.
• Plan and prepare vendor and employee expense payments.
• Conduct month-end close procedures.
• Assist with year-end working papers.
• Collaborate with the finance team, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure financial operations align with project goals.
• Provide financial guidance and support to team members as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a major in Accounting or an Accounting Diploma is required.
• Completion of college or other courses certified by CPA Canada is considered an asset.
• Experience in the construction or general contracting industry is considered an asset.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy levels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
