The Toronto Blue Jays are looking for Authentics Associates to join our team for the 2025 baseball season.
Blue Jays Authentics is looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals with a passion for creating exceptional experiences to join the Blue Jays Authentics roster for the 2025 season. As part of our team, Blue Jays Authentics will work directly with Jays Shop to provide fans with the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind authenticated merchandise and an enhanced fan experience at Rogers Centre.
We are seeking Authentics Associates who have a desire to champion a winning team, both on and off the field. As a Blue Jays Authentics team member, you are responsible for elevating the fan experience through their authenticated merchandise needs – providing fans with game-used and team issued merchandise to celebrate their Blue Jays and Rogers Centre experience. You will have the responsibility of creating unforgettable moments and sharing your baseball expertise by utilizing excellent customer service and communication skills, as a frontline staff member for Blue Jays Authentics.
This is a part-time contract position from March to October 2025 with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:
- Learn the MLB Authentication Program and educate staff and fans at games.
- Address fan inquiries and sell high-valued items in a confident, positive manner.
- Open and/or close Blue Jays Authentics retail location.
- Enforce inventory controls in Blue Jays Authentics locations; including preserving and maintaining the condition of merchandise, adhering to loss prevention guidelines, and completing cycle counts with precision.
- Understand, follow and enforce all Authentics and Toronto Blue Jays policies and procedures as an example to other staff.
- Responses to fan inquiries by email and phone for authenticated memorabilia.
- Fulfillment of shipments (online and phone orders).
- Enthusiastically and promptly greet and interact with our fans in an accommodating and respectful manner; attending to their needs to deliver the ultimate fan experience.
- Maintain the appearance and organization of the sales floor through general cleaning and restocking of merchandise; ensure all inventory is displayed in a visually appealing and profitable manner.
- Effectively communicate product features, promotions, available services, and relevant ballpark and club information.
- Communicate fan and staff feedback to the leadership team, to enrich overall stadium and merchandise experience.
- Ensure all day-to-day store, kiosk, warehouse, and stadium operations are carried out in an orderly and professional approach.
- Assist in receiving and processing regular product shipments.
- Supporting daily sales goals, departmental objectives, and promoting organizational values.
- Participate in the merchandise sales, distribution, and overall experience for other Rogers Centre events, including concerts.
- Contribute to the positive team dynamic, fostering a safe and welcoming space for all staff and fans.
- Adhere to and enforce all organizational and departmental policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols within Blue Jays Authentics locations and across the stadium.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Must be available to work 90% of home games (evenings, weekends, and holidays) and other Rogers Centre concerts/events as required.
- Possess a working knowledge of baseball, the Blue Jays and Blue Jays history.
- Previous work experience can come in a variety of forms, whether that be in a professional office environment, professional sports team experience, work involving sports collectibles and others – there is no specific set of work experience we are looking for!
- Sees themselves sharing the history of Toronto Blue Jays authenticated items with inquiring fans.
- Significant attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Enjoys a high energy environment and demonstrates an appreciation of the diverse background of Toronto Blue Jays fans and staff. A commitment to service excellence and fan satisfaction.
- Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, coupled with a professional and friendly demeanour.
- Outgoing, passionate, and self-motivated; able to work well with and without direct supervision.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment and work proficiently under pressure.
- Organizational competency, ability to multi-task, and manage time and resources effectively.
- A solid team player and a collaborative frame of mind.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn point-of-sale systems. Physical stamina and mobility including ability to lift, carry, kneel, bend, and reach.
