The opportunity
Team Leadership and Development
- Directly supervise, coach, and mentor a team of five PPSA administrators.
- Coach team members navigate challenges and uncertainties, providing guidance and support.
- Create a positive and inclusive working environment that encourages collaboration, innovation and personal growth.
- Communicate job expectations, supervise and review job contributions. Acknowledge and reward employees.
- Coach and lead employees, monitoring and managing performance, develop performance plans, set and review goals on an individual basis, and coach employees on their career development.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new employees and the employee hiring process.
- Oversee the end-to-end process for PPSA registrations, renewals, amendments, and discharges.
- Ensure all filings are accurate, timely, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on PPSA legislation and ensure the team adheres to all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all PPSA activities
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions for process improvement.
- Partner with internal departments, including legal, credit, and operations to support seamless PPSA administration.
- Act as primary point of contact for resolving escalations and handling complex PPSA inquiries.
- At least 2 years of experience managing or supervising a team.
- Post-secondary education in business administration, finance, or a related field.
- Excellent proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to guide team members through uncertainty and foster resilience.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multitask.
