ASL Maintenance is ASL Aviation Holding's own EASA part 145 aircraft maintenance organization. With a workforce of over 300 people, we perform base and line maintenance on the group's 130 aircraft (B747s as well as B737 NGs and Classics) in our hangars at Brussels, Liege as well as our line facilities in Paris CDG airport.

Position:

ASL Maintenance, the EASA part. 145 aircraft maintenance branch of ASL Aviation Holdings is looking for long a Part 145 Monitoring Compliance and Safety Director (M/F/XX) - for oversight of all the company’s operations, to be located at LGG, BRU or CDG.


Responsibilities:

• Maintain an direct and open communication channel with the aviation authorities and ensure the compliance of the organization with the applicable airworthiness and safety regulations.
• Ensure the adoption by the company of all existing and new regulations applicable to our activity.
• Act as the internal reference on all matters quality for the whole company.
• Maintain an overall oversight of all matters related with safety and quality.
• Participate and assist with oversight of the company internal/external audit and surveillance program as defined by the company's policies and procedures, including the review of the audit program, contents, periodicity, etc.
• Identify systemic problems with respect to policies and procedures and report deficiencies.
• Initiate and coordinate investigations, audits, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.
• Review audit findings and investigation reports to ensure root cause and root cause corrections are properly identified and addressed.
• Review Quality and safety data, analysis and KPI set up and follow up.
• Act as the internal quality and safety advisor to the General Manager.
• Ensure the development of the safety policy in its area (Part 145) Ensuring the validity of the MRO PART BE.145.27 approval is maintained.
• Ensure the implementation, procedure development, training, and enforcement of OHS directives in the company.
• Manage a team of Quality and Safety Compliance Managers in each one of our bases.
• Assist with the opening of new maintenance bases and stations in all quality and safety matters.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor Engineering or Master Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering is preferred.
• Qualified aircraft mechanics with at least 15 years’ experience in maintenance and quality having hold EASA B1,B2, C license are also welcomed to apply).
• EASA part 145 quality regulations as well as SMS knowledge and experience at expert level.
• Experience in internal/external audits.
• Knowledge in OHS analysis and planning.
• Fulfills the requirements for holding a FORM 4 post.
• Minimum 8 years experience in aviation (MRO and CAMO), of which 5 years in Quality functions.
• Fluent English is a must, knowledge of French and Dutch are important merits.

• Frequent travel is to be expected within Europe, occasional globally.
