Our finance team at TML Ghent is looking for a dedicated Accountant.
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the complete follow-up and smooth operation of the accounts of your assigned company.
Your scope of work:

• Working in the company's Financial Shared Services department, you will follow up the general accounting from A-Z.
• You will ensure the timely submission of monthly VAT returns and other legal obligations.
• You prepare the monthly closing in a correct manner.
• You ensure monthly financial reporting with the necessary controls.
• You prepare the year-end closing and audit files in cooperation with external partners (including company auditors and accountancy firms).
You support your colleagues where necessary.

What we expect from you:…

• You have preferably obtained an A2 or bachelor degree in Accountancy-Taxation.
• You have at least 2 years' work experience in a similar position.
• You are familiar with BE GAAP and VAT regulations.
• You have good knowledge of Excel and are computer literate.
• You are numerically oriented, and work with an eye for detail.
• Fluent communication in Dutch and English, but you can also get by a bit in French.
You have a real can-do mentality and are a team player who helps your colleagues where necessary.
