Job Summary: We are looking for a highly organized and efficient Purchase Coordinator to join our team in the Interior Fitout sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the procurement of materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) required for various interior design and fitout projects. The role will involve working closely with project managers, designers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials while adhering to project timelines and budgets.

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly organized and efficient Purchase Coordinator to join our team in the Interior Fitout sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the procurement of materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) required for various interior design and fitout projects. The role will involve working closely with project managers, designers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials while adhering to project timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Management:
- Coordinate the purchase of materials, furniture, fixtures, and finishes required for interior fitout projects.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and requirements to understand procurement needs and material selection.
- Vendor & Supplier Relations:
- Establish and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors specializing in interior fitout materials.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure optimal cost-effectiveness for the company.
- Source alternative suppliers if required, ensuring quality and delivery schedules meet project deadlines.
- Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with project managers and interior designers to understand project timelines, material specifications, and delivery deadlines.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure the smooth transportation of materials to construction sites as per project schedules.
- Provide regular updates to project teams regarding order statuses, potential delays, and procurement challenges.
- 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement in the construction, interior design, or fitout industry.
- Knowledge of interior fitout materials, furniture, finishes, and sourcing options.
- Proven negotiation skills and experience in vendor management.
- Proficient in procurement software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
