What you’ll be doing
The Wave Planner plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations by managing the prioritization of orders. Through training and development to ensure that processes and procedures are followed so the teams can achieve their required KPI’s, allowing the site to meet its service and financial performance targets.

Ensure DIFOT is >99%
Plan and separate orders in WMS according to service level
Release and prioritise orders accordingly to service level
Ensure orders are completed before cut off
Ensuring stock discrepancies are addressed for orders to be picked before cut off
Investigate orders that have missed cut offs
Investigate missing and incorrect items on orders
Monitor work progression
Report and communicate with relevant team members and leadership regarding WIP.

The skills you'll have

Certification / Qualification in Logistics or Warehouse Management or in a related discipline OR prepared to undertake such study to compliment the role and the business requirements.
Occupational, Health & Safety knowledge with experience in Chain Of Responsibility (COR)
Holds a driver’s License would be preferred
Preferably holds or has a willingness to acquire their fork lift operating license
Lean qualifications would be highly regarded
Demonstrated experience in managing teams to deliver safety, financial and service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Strong Team player with experience in building a high performing team and maximising team performance
Proven interpersonal skills, ability to coach and counsel Team Members
Demonstrated leadership, relationship building, communication, influencing and teamwork skills
Capacity to be an effective and positive change agent, continuous improvement of championing innovation experience.
Proven to be effective with stakeholder management and ability to work collaboratively cross function
Able to make and execute considered decisions while managing multiple task and under pressure in a fast-moving business environment
An understanding of financial metrics within supply chain and retail in general
Ability to relocate internally within the organisation would be highly regarded
Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and process with the ability to Identify opportunities for Improvement which are solution orientated and with a keen eye for detail
Confident and comfortable utilising Microsoft excel
Exceptional personal standards of honesty, integrity, professionalism and work ethic
