We currently have an opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as Team Leader – CTA/Job Lab based in Newcastle. This role requires regular travel across the Hunter and New England regions.


The Role - A Day in the Life of a Team Leader
As a Team Leader within our Career Transition Assistance/Job Lab contract you will coordinate and facilitate a range of CTA/Job Lab training programs to support customers to achieve their training and employment goals. The role will also be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of CTA/Job Lab trainers across an operational region.


Your Key Responsibilities will include:

• Provide guidance and support to a team of Training Advisors through their delivery and administration of the training programs to ensure consistent quality across the region
• Market and promote the CTA program amongst Workforce Australia providers within the region
• Assist in the development of training calendars

Criteria for Success

• Experience within the Workforce Australia Contracts
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and delivery techniques relevant to mature customers
• Ability to provide effective advisory, coaching and/or mentoring support
• Sound time management skills and the ability to lead a small team to achieve results
• Current Driver’s Licence
• A recent, clear National Police Check
• A current NSW Working With Children Check
