What your day will look like....

You will be deeply involved in both direct clinical practice and strategic community development, using your expertise in Social Work and mental health to foster resilience in the Tara community. With a high level of autonomy, you'll design and implement community engagement initiatives, working alongside local stakeholders, health professionals, and community members to ensure access to vital mental health services. Whether you're assessing risk factors, building referral pathways, or leading collaborative meetings, your role will centre around supporting individuals and families while empowering the broader community. In addition to direct support, you'll actively participate in committees and forums, contributing to the continuous improvement of mental health services and disaster recovery strategies. Your leadership will help shape sustainable, community-led approaches to recovery, all while ensuring quality standards and the delivery of evidence-based practices. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor and develop future clinicians, sharing your knowledge and shaping the next generation of mental health professionals.
