About the Role:
This position is a Temporary Full-time role to be shared between 2 schools, Southport Special School 0.6 FTE and Mudgeeraba Special School 0.4 FTE, until 12 December 2025 unless otherwise determined.
Working across two schools encourages dynamic collaboration, allowing you to engage with a wide range of professionals, exchange ideas, and participate in joint initiatives that enrich the educational experience. This dual-location role fosters a strong sense of community and professional growth, as you become an integral part of two dedicated and supportive school teams.
With flexibility in working arrangements to be negotiated with the successful applicant, this position offers a unique blend of professional variety, teamwork, and the chance to contribute to two exceptional learning environments.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing technical advice, instruction, and support for electronic equipment in line with departmental, school, and manufacturer guidelines, policies, and network standards.
Assisting in delivering in-service training for staff on the effective use of ICT tools to enhance and deliver educational services to students.
Supporting staff and students by resolving issues related to school computing facilities with a strong focus on customer service and communication.
Conducting regular preventative maintenance, routine servicing, and emergency repairs for all ICT facilities and associated electronic equipment.
