Casual - Registered Nurse - South Nowra

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of older people? Do you have a caring nature and a desire to support others in living their best life? If so, Anglicare Sydney is looking for dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team and help enhance the well-being of our residents.

About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse at Anglicare Sydney, you will play a crucial role in enriching the lives of our residents by promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. We are looking for skilled and empathetic Registered Nurses to be part of our dynamic team and contribute to the well-being of our residents.

About You:

Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Previous experience in aged care or similar healthcare settings (desirable).
Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage complex care needs.
A genuine passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence.
Alignment with Anglicare’s Christian ethos and values.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical care to residents, ensuring their health needs are met in accordance with care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
Develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans in collaboration with the care team.
Provide emotional support and build strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with aged care standards and regulations
Lead and mentor care staff to promote best practices in aged care
Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe environment for residents and staff
