Physiotherapist | Blue Care | Cairns Allied Health l Community Based

Employment Term: Permanent Part Time - 3 days per week
Location: Cairns Allied Health Team - Primarily Home Visits
Remuneration: $39.77 to $55.70 p/hr (dependent on experience) + 11.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

• Diagnosing, assessing and developing care plans for individuals and groups
• Prescription and selection of appropriate adaptive equipment and modification
• Education and training on aspects of therapy for the clients and carers
• Goal setting activities, as well discharge and resolution planning
• Liaising with healthcare professionals, such as GPs, nurses and occupational therapists to ensure care plans are formulated and monitored

• Tertiary Qualifications and current AHPRA registration
• Previous experience within an Aged Care or Community setting
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build great relationships
• Effective time-management and proven clinical problem-solving skills
• Current Australian Drivers Licence and a road worthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance as required
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
• Current CPR and First Aid
• Own reliable vehicle with kilometre reimbursement where a fleet car is not available
