We are seeking the services of a knowledgeable, highly motivated and passionate Head Chef / Kitchen Manger to lead our Coolum Beach kitchen operation.
Working with the Owners and Genera Manager you will utilise your extensive industry knowledge and superior staff training skills to lead and build a great team and drive productivity.
This is an opportunity to have ownership of your role and contribute to the growth of a fresh dynamic company in a growing beach community.
The Head Chef we are seeking must be a good leader and communicator with the ability to lead by example & set high standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring a consistently high-quality product; Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Responsible for food & wage costs
Menu cost control
Roster compilation and management
Effective Communication skills
Maintaining development processes & procedures kitchen cleanliness and organisation
Provide leadership, supervision of the entire kitchen staff
Staff recruitment, training, appraisal & disciplinary action
OH&S & HACCP management
Creative menu Planning, design and pricing
Stock Control & Stock taking
Ordering stock

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year

• COOLUM BEACH, QLD 4573: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Kitchen: 6 years (Required)
• Head Chef: 4 years (Required)
