Your New Role - Import & Export Operator

• Check & Process Documentation
• Monitor cargo availability and status
• Arrange Pre-Alerts, arrival notices and outturn reports to clients
• Organise & lodge under bond movements
• Collection & handover of delivery orders and EDO's.
• Finalise invoices to clients and overseas agents & COD collection where required
• Maintain shipment status details.
• Be the first point of contact.
• Provide support to the team.
• Deal with Australian customs and AQIS on a regular basis.
• Ensure all bookings received are managed in line with department KPI’s.
• Ensure all shipments are invoiced on time and in line with department KPI’s.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Experience in the related industry within Australia.
• Import & Export Operator Experience
• Ability to resolve problems effectively and efficiently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners and staff at all levels.
• Strong planning and organizational skills including ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks.
• Team oriented, have an eye for detail, willing to learn and see work through to completion.
• Cargo Wise One knowledge and experience
• Hard working attitude
• A team player
