Salary: $99,983 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + leave loading + travel and accommodation expenses
Time Fraction: Full Time
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia
Position Status: Appointment to December 2025
Are you an experienced electrician with a passion for sharing your knowledge and helping others grow? Do you have strong mentoring and coaching skills, with a desire to make a difference in the lives of aspiring electricians? We are looking for skilled electricians to deliver hands-on and practical training in Indonesia.
About the Project:
Supporting ODG, an Indonesian based electrical contracting firm to establish a commercially sustainable Electrical Trades Vocational Training Facility in Indonesia, is an initiative aimed at enhancing the electrical expertise of ODG employees. The project is led by Holmesglen Institute and ODG, in collaboration with Katalis. Katalis is an Indonesia - Australia bilateral, government-funded economic cooperation program established under IA-CEPA.
The key aim of the project is to provide comprehensive training to enhance and develop the skills of local professionals in the electrical domain. Holmesglen and ODG are developing approximately 22 subjects that will be taught to ODG employees, helping to further develop their skills and knowledge.
About the Role:

As part of our team, you will use your real-world experience and expertise to guide and support participants in developing essential electrical skills. This role is perfect for electricians who enjoy mentoring others and have a knack for explaining concepts in a clear, relatable way.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on, practical training in electrical installation, maintenance, safety, and troubleshooting.
• Act as a mentor and coach, supporting participants to build confidence and competence in their work.
• Share real-world knowledge and examples from your experience to enhance learning.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for learning and skill development.
• Work collaboratively to adapt training materials to suit participants' needs and align with industry standards.

Requirements:

• Qualified and experienced electrician with hands-on experience in the field.
• Strong mentoring and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and a solid understanding of electrical safety standards.
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and cultural environments.
• Previous experience in mentoring apprentices or colleagues is highly desirable but not essential.
• Ability to speak Indonesian desirable but not essential.
• Current Employee Working with Children Check
• Current Police Check
• Eligibility to obtain work rights in Country
