About the role:
As a dietitian at Maple Leaf House, you will provide clinical care to clients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. This role offers opportunities to engage in quality improvement initiatives, educational activities, and research projects. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong passion for supporting trans and gender diverse young people with their eating behaviours and nutritional needs.
You will receive local support from the Allied Health Team Lead, including orientation and ongoing participation in professional, group, and team supervision. Additionally, you will have access to various educational opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Where you’ll be working:
Maple Leaf House is a standalone outpatient service based in Hamilton providing holistic multi-disciplinary care for trans and gender diverse young people to 25 years of age. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an evolving area of healthcare and work with a team who are collaborative, passionate and innovative in clinical service delivery.
Situated just 4 km from Newcastle’s CBD, Hamilton is an ideal hub for discovering the best of the region. - Must hold a Bachelor or post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics that provides eligibility for Full membership of the Dietitians Australia (DA).
