Casual MR Truck Driver

Potential of full-time work in the future helping logistics loading joinery onto pallets along with driving trucks.
- Transport finished goods and/or raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants, construction sites, retail/office sites or distribution centres when required.
- Load and unload goods as required ensuring appropriate documentation is recorded and returned to the Logistics Manager
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Clean and maintain the external truck when required, reporting any issues to the Logistics Manager.
- Maintain and document appropriate logbook requirements.
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with Aspen’s policies and procedures
- Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions ensuring appropriate WPHS is always maintained
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents, or violations.
- Work as a valuable team member in the Preparation/palettization of goods to dispatch from our Armidale facility when not actively driving the truck.
- Participate in performance appraisals when due.
Pay: $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Driving: 3 years (Preferred)
- HC Licence (Required)
- Driver Licence (Required)
- Australia (Required)
