We’re on the lookout to fill the role of a full-time Café Manager.

What we’re looking for:
-Minimum Diploma qualification in Hospitality or similar field or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of qualifications
- Confident hospitality professional with at least 2 years of experience in Café Manager role
- Flexible availability
- Able to efficiently manage multiple tasks within the demanding pace of a café environment while upholding quality standards;
- Possess strong problem-solving skills to swiftly address and resolve various challenges, be it handling customer complaints, addressing kitchen mishaps, or managing staffing issues.
- Passion for food & beverages with attention to detail
Your role will include:
- Supervising and managing staff members to ensure smooth operations during shifts
- Creating and implementing staff rosters to ensure optimal coverage
- Building and fostering a cohesive team environment through team-building activities
- Providing staff training and development opportunities to enhance their skills
- Ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and addressing any concerns promptly
- Serving customers and maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- Ensure all food and beverage are prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Oversee the preparation of hot and cold beverages including coffee, tea and other speciality beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage and placing orders where needed
- Collaborating with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination between front of house and back of house
- Manage cash handling procedures, including POS operations and balancing
- Learn all areas of the operation, including the kitchen, to provide support when/if needed
- Stock count & ordering
