Peach is hiring! Our cute pink cafe in Blackburn south is looking for passionate barista staff for 2-3 days a week.
We are a small cafe based in quaint neighbourhood, serving gourmet toasties and specialty coffee to our incredible clientele base.
Duties will include:

• Morning set up, including setting up coffee machine, dialing in espresso, preparing batch brew. Also includes setting up pastry cabinet.
• Taking customers orders, running food/coffee, preparing cold drinks such as smoothies, frappes, milkshakes in a timely manner.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and food safe work environment
• Assisting with maintaining stock levels of coffee/milk/cold drinks
• Closing shift at the end of the day, including pack down of coffee machine, pastry cabinet and food cabinet.

Who we are looking for

• Someone who has great attention to detail, has a flair for serving great coffee and serving high quality drinks. Latte art experience preferred
• Has at least 1-2 year previous experience as a barista
• Has a strong work ethic, reliable
• Extensive knowledge of food safety is crucial
• Able to work both alone and in a team under pressure
• Being able to multitask and have excellent time management skills

Must be available at least 1 day on the weekends
Operating hours are 7:30-3 mon-fri, 8-3 weekends
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $28.00 – $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
