Sales Senior Manager-FMCG&Retail

What you’ll do
Responsible from Vodafone Business Unit Corporate Accounts Customers in FMCG & Retail sectors and managing the sales account managers for these sectors
  • Responsible from overall growth, P&L and Vodafone Business Unit’s KPIs within FMCG & Retail sectors
  • Build long term growth strategy and execution plan for high value customers in the FMCG & Retail sectors
  • Manage the sales account managers for related sectors/ Lead the team for achieve sales against defined targets and objectives
  • Ensure that the assigned sectors and customers are fully utilized in terms of Vodafone products and services (i.e. mobile, fixed and solutions)
  • Manage the sales pipeline with a disiplined forecasting methodology to ensure sales targets are achieved
  • Responsible also from order to bill and bill to cash process to ensure revenue targets are met
  • Establish business plans and ensure company resources (budgets etc.) are utilized efficiently/effectively to deliver results targeted by the department
  • Evaluate deal profitability using financial controls and analysis, tools provided by the company
  • Work closely with solution sales teams to generate sales opportunities and targeting potential customers
  • Personal experience and involvement to win and retain high value segment customers/complex accounts and develop/maintain strategic
  • Attract and enable sales talents to grow by creating opportunities in sales team
  • Ensure sales teams are motivated and that accounts and opportunities are allocated to maximize revenue growth
  • Ensure diversity and attrition targets within sales teams are met
  • Guarantee team’s compliance with Sales methods & tools (i.e. SFDC quality) to ensure alignment with other teams and functions
Who you are
  • University degree
  • Experience in telecommunication and technology sectors
  • Min. 10+ years experience in sales management with strategic and corporate accounts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • C Level business network with relevant sectors
  • Experience in team management
  • Ability to think strategically and drive transformational sales programmes for the team
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of management
  • Good commercial judgment and analysis skills
  • Able to analyse and communicate the “bigger picture”
  • Strong time management skills
  • Organizational awareness
  • Ability to influence people
  • Able to deal with a rapidly changing environment and able to lead change where necessary
  • Capable of working for projects in a matrix-organisation
