As Lodge Manager, you will be responsible for the seamless operation of our client’s high-end lodge, ensuring that all departments deliver the highest level of service to guests. Working closely with the team, you’ll maintain high standards in hospitality, guest satisfaction, and daily operations. Key responsibilities include overseeing guest services, managing staff, ensuring efficient lodge administration, and creating memorable guest experiences. This position offers a rotational schedule of six weeks on, followed by two weeks off.

You’ll have the chance to work in one of South Africa’s most breathtaking wilderness areas, fostering relationships with guests from around the world. Ideal candidates are passionate, dedicated, and comfortable with the unique demands of safari lodge life.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in luxury lodge management (5-star hospitality experience essential)

Strong computer skills, with knowledge of Apex software highly advantageous

Excellent communication skills; the ability to engage effectively with guests of all ages and nationalities

Proficiency in an additional European language is a plus

Valid driver’s license required; PDP license advantageous

Comfortable with shift work and able to adapt to lodge routines and schedules (“not a clock watcher”)

Package:
Monthly salary: R18,000 – R22,000, depending on experience, plus a share of staff tips

Live-in position with private, non-shared accommodation

All meals provided
