Senior/ Staff Nurse - Endoscopy (Hospital) - Central

Working hours: 5 days' staggered hours
Responsibilities:
- Educate and prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, including obtaining medical histories and explaining the procedure.
- Support the physician during endoscopic procedures by providing necessary instruments, monitoring patient vital signs, and ensuring a sterile environment.
- Provide post-operative care, including monitoring recovery, managing any complications, and offering discharge instructions to patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes.
- Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and functioning of endoscopy equipment and instruments.
- Work closely with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care and improve outcomes.
- Serve as an advocate for patients’ needs and comfort throughout the endoscopy process.
- Stay updated on the latest techniques, technologies, and best practices in endoscopy nursing.
- With a minimum qualification of Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
- Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
