Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Network Technician at COSPACE in Karachi. The Network Technician will be responsible for installing, managing, and maintaining network cabling infrastructure, including the creation of RJ-45 connectors. This role is vital for ensuring a seamless and efficient network setup to support our organization's operations.
Key Responsibilities
1) Cable Installation and Management:
- Lay, organize, and secure network cables in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain neat and professional cable management within racks and workstations.
- Perform cable labeling and documentation for easy identification and troubleshooting.
2) Connector Setup and Maintenance:
- Assemble and install RJ-45 connectors, ensuring proper termination and functionality.
- Test connectors for accuracy and compatibility with network requirements.
3) Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Inspect and identify issues with existing cabling and resolve connectivity problems.
- Test network cables and connections to ensure stability and performance.
4) Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to industry standards and safety protocols during installations and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements
Education: Intermediate, bachelors or equivalent; technical certifications in networking are a plus.
Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in network cabling, cable management, and connector creation.
Skills and Abilities
Proficiency in creating RJ-45 connectors and terminating network cables.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure and cable types
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Shift Timings
Monday to Friday: 4 pm to 1 am (This is a night shift)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs55,000.00 per month
