Lead Accounting and Finance - New Projects

Invictus Group is a dynamic and growing US-based company with diverse business interests, including gas stations, convenience stores, real estate (buying, selling, and rentals), fuel/oil distribution, and construction. Our back office is located in Karachi, Pakistan, where this position is based.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Accounting and Finance professional to join our team in Karachi. This role will play a crucial part in the financial success of our new projects.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial planning, analysis, and reporting for new projects.
• Develop detailed financial models and conduct feasibility studies to evaluate the financial viability of new projects.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and analyze variances.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation.
• Draft and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting and finance processes.
• Review and analyze contractual agreements and contracts.
• Perform other tasks as delegated by the CFO and Directors.

Qualifications:

• 6-8 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on new projects.
• ACCA Qualified / CA Finalist / MBA in Finance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred), financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proficient in using financial software and tools, including Quick Books and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in drafting SOPs and reviewing contractual agreements.
