Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize our data warehousing processes. This role will be pivotal in ensuring data availability, consistency, and reliability across our systems by managing a data warehouse built on Microsoft SQL Server, with integrations powered by SSIS, analytical capabilities through SSAS, and reporting using SSRS. The Data Warehouse Manager will lead a team of developers and analysts to maintain and improve our data infrastructure, enabling high-quality data access, efficient ETL processes, and actionable insights for the organization.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize our data infrastructure. This role will ensure data consistency and availability, managing a warehouse built on Microsoft SQL Server, with SSIS for integrations, SSAS for analytics, and SSRS for reporting. The manager will lead a team to improve ETL processes, enhance data access, and provide actionable insights across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Warehouse Management: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the data warehouse to ensure data integrity, quality, and availability.
ETL Development: Manage SSIS processes for efficient data transfer, transformation, and loading.
Data Modeling & Analysis: Develop OLAP cubes and data models in SSAS for advanced analytics.
Reporting: Oversee report and dashboard creation in SSRS to meet business needs.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers, engineers, and analysts.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor and troubleshoot data warehouse performance and issues.
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure documentation is up-to-date and compliance standards are met.
Required Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field. Master’s is a plus.
Experience: 5+ years in data warehousing, with 2+ years in leadership.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and T-SQL.
Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership, with the ability to manage technical teams and collaborate with business stakeholders.
Problem-solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in large, complex environments.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, Synapse).
Knowledge of Power BI or similar tools.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, MCSE: Data Management and Analytics) are highly desirable.
