Job Description: Civil Supervisor (Contract Basis)
Position: Civil Supervisor
Location: Private Residence, Karachi, Pakistan
Contract Duration: 6 months
Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Reporting To: Project Manager
Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Civil Supervisor to oversee and ensure the timely execution of home construction and renovation at a private residence in Karachi, Pakistan. The role involves coordinating with the contractor and their team to ensure adherence to the project timeline, structural standards, and quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight:

• Monitor daily construction and renovation activities to ensure compliance with approved plans and timelines.
• Conduct site inspections to verify that work meets structural and safety standards.

Coordination:

• Serve as the primary liaison between the homeowner and the contractor.
• Ensure that the contractor and their team understand and follow the agreed-upon specifications and project scope.
• Communicate project updates, issues, and progress to the homeowner regularly.

Quality Assurance:

• Verify the use of quality materials as per the project specifications.
• Ensure all work adheres to relevant civil engineering and structural standards.

Timeline Management:

• Track project milestones and ensure the contractor adheres to the project schedule.
• Proactively identify and address potential delays or bottlenecks.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of daily site activities, work progress, and materials used.
• Prepare and submit weekly progress reports to the homeowner.

Problem Resolution:

• Address on-site challenges promptly, coordinating with the contractor to ensure minimal disruption.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the homeowner with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in residential projects.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of construction processes and standards.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and plans.
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs75,000.00 per month
Education:

• Middle School (Preferred)

Experience:

• Construction Supervisory: 2 years (Preferred)
