BFSI Business Development Manager
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • At least 5 years proven record within Business development and management.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or relationship management within the BFSI sector.
  • In-depth understanding of banking, financial services, and insurance industries, including regulatory environment, market dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and identify growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Additional Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the BFSI sector is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of financial products and services, such as loans, investments, insurance policies, and risk management solutions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools for tracking leads, managing pipelines, and generating reports.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze data to assess market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards affecting BFSI sectors.
  • Business Planning and Strategy:
  • Develop comprehensive business development plans aligned with company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Identify key areas for growth and formulate strategies to penetrate new markets.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop pricing strategies and product offerings.
  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate relationships with potential clients, including banks, financial institutions, and insurance companies.
  • Lead sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to onboard new clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Partnership Development:
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders, including technology providers, regulatory bodies, and professional organizations.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop joint offerings, expand service capabilities, and enhance market presence.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation:
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by actively prospecting and converting leads into sales opportunities.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth across BFSI segments.
  • Track sales performance metrics, analyse results, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of business development efforts with overall company objectives.
  • Provide market feedback and insights to inform product roadmap and business strategy.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From RM10,000.00 per month
