An exciting opportunity exists for a Radiographer to deliver Medical Imaging services as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health, in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS).

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

The Medical Imaging Service provides a comprehensive Medical Imaging, Nuclear Medicine and Interventional Radiology service. This position will deliver competent base-level Medical Imaging Services, actively contributing to the multidisciplinary team through clinical service delivery and other activities as detailed below. This position will work across a variety of areas and rosters within the Medical Imaging Service - which is operational 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Gympie Hospital provide X-ray and CT services and involves an Emergency Clinical On-call/Re-call Service to achieve 24hr service coverage.

Key Responsibilities include:
Demonstrate competent knowledge, expertise and skill in delivering Medical Imaging services commensurate with level of experience in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, existing evidence-based practice and established clinical protocols.
Apply clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making under the clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of a more senior clinician.
Participate in quality and service improvement activities to continually improve patient/client care, including the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the work environment.

Remuneration value up to $132,567 p.a., comprising salary between $79,051- $116,189 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3).
