About the opportunity: Position: Patient Services Officer Vacancy: Permanent Full-time, 76 hours per fortnight Location: Community Mental Health Campuses and Townsville University Hospital
What's on offer? Remuneration package of up to $82,439 p.a.

• Salary range: $61,949 to $72,254 p.a. (AO2)
• 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
• Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About the role

• Provide quality person-centred care in a friendly and helpful manner; communicate clearly and confidently with patients, members of the public and departmental staff both person and over the telephone whilst adhering to Queensland Health guidelines on confidentiality.
• Build good relationships with patients, their families and work colleagues by using strong communication and negotiation skills and deliver a service that meets their needs with adherence to policy and standards.
• Respond to and resolve non-clinical and general frontline enquiries by providing accurate and timely information to support patients and staff within scope of role and in line with relevant procedures.
