About the Opportunity
This role is part of our Trades Maintenance Team and as the qualified Electrician you will cover, but not limited to:
- Promptly responding to breakdowns and minimise downtime where possible
- Often navigate preventative maintenance issues
- Investigating failures and making recommendations to reduce risk and improve systems and processes
- Electrical trouble shooting within factory environment, including filling machines and packaging equipment
- Being part of a team who actively look after each other
You will be a dedicated individual who has experience gained in the food, dairy, packaging or related industry with sound knowledge and expertise in Programmable logic controller’s (PLC).
Having exposure to instrument calibrations and quality systems will be highly regarded, however this can be taught. It is essential that you possess a relevant trade qualification as an Electrician, a current Electrical A Grade License and be available to work a shift roster, overtime, call outs and some weekends. You will have an analytical and methodical approach to problem solving and strong communication skills which enable you to work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
