FIFO Heavy Diesel Mechanic / HD Fitter - WA

BDS Mechanical currently has permanent positions available for Diesel Mechanics and Diesel fitters to join our FIFO team. These are full time FIFO positions located at various WA mine sites with multiple roster options to suit all lifestyles (2/1, 2/2 or 3/1.)
Position description:
- Work on-site performing field service primarily on machines such as haul trucks, loaders, dozers, excavators, and shovels.
- Perform breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance, requiring advanced technical skills in diagnostics.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with the broader mining team to coordinate service schedules, aiming to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
- Relevant Australian recognised diesel fitter qualification
- Current drivers license
- Minimum 12 months post-trade experience in the mining industry.
- Full Working Rights.
- Diagnostic experience
- Experience on HD / Mining equipment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Extra skills, experience, tickets and licences will be advantageous
- Very high hourly rate
- Full time employment (11.5% super, 4 weeks annual leave, sick leave)
