We play an active role in the delivery of key government priorities, such as the implementation of a renewable energy economy, assisting in Path to Treaty, recognition of Native Title Rights and capitalising on our resources for sustainable economic prosperity.
About the role:In this role you will:
- Provide information and advice in accordance with specified policies and procedures, on administrative, human resource and financial issues. Human resource and financial advice is provided under the guidance of specialist HR and Finance officers.
- Proactive management of the Chief Counsel's calendar including efficiently managing and coordinating day-to-day appointments, taking a proactive approach to organising meetings and providing secretarial support to ensure the executive is appropriately pre-briefed.
- Manage domestic and international travel for meetings, delegations and conferences including researching all associated activities and arranging pre[1]briefings for these events.
- Provide high level executive support services using Microsoft software and corporate financial, travel and workforce data solutions and work-flow, information management and administrative systems.
- Process financial payments and other financial transactions.
- Prepare, generate and distribute relevant documents (agenda, reports, correspondence, etc.), coordinate attendance (staff, presenters, etc.) and confidential minute recording and distribution.
- Other duties as directed and required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
