Electric Vehicle Delivery Driver
FULL TIME

- 6-month contract (potential to extend to permanent depending on business requirements)
- Commitment required to work full-time hours Monday to Friday starting at 6:30am

As our Postie based in Thuringowa QLD, you’ll be operating and delivering on our 3-Wheeled Electric Delivery Vehicles as the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting Australians every single day.
You’ll be
- Starting your day early in the morning, sorting mail and small parcels with your teammates at the facility
- Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
- Loading your vehicle with your deliveries for the day
- Delivering outdoors in all types of weather to deliver to homes and businesses
- Paired up with our experienced Rider Mentors, who are committed to engage and take part in your professional development
About you
- You hold a full or probationary QLD drivers licence with a good driving history
- On employment, you’ll need to successfully pass our mandatory vehicle training and assessment
- You are flexible with finishing times and working additional hours if required
- You have a good memory, great hand/eye coordination, and excellent attention to detail for when sorting mail
- You enjoy physical work indoors and outdoors and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly
- You will need to meet our safe working vehicle load limit of weighing under 120kgs fully clothed (including helmet)

- Post probationary $ (after 3 months training rate) is $30.93 base per hour plus additional 15% shift penalties and 12% superannuation
