A fixed term, 0.4EFT position is available for a suitably qualified and experienced researcher.
Suitable candates must hold a Ph D in a health or science field and have demonstrated recent palliative care expertise in research, data analysis, report / manuscript writing.

Job Description: Palliative Care Data and Project Officer

• You’ll work in a dynamic team, pulling together critical data to inform important service planning and healthcare across the whole of Victoria

The Parkville Integrated Palliative Care Service is a leading provider of clinical care, education and research across The Royal Melbourne Hospital and The Peter Mac Callum Cancer Centre. We undertake research and quality improvement activities to continuously improve the care we provide our patients and community – through leading activities in trials research, health services research and service evaluation.
Your new role:

• Work with our research team to optimise data collection, analysis and writing of reports and manuscripts for publication and dissemination with our key stakeholders – including other clinical services and the Victorian Department of Health
• Generate ideas for further research and seek out and apply for new funding opportunities

About you:

• Suitable candidates must hold a Ph D in a health or science field and have demonstrated recent palliative care experience/expertise in research, data analysis, report writing and manuscript writing
• Suitable candidates will have expertise in database design and analysis.
