Cyber Security operations Engineer

Manage, optimise, and develop cyber security operations tools in order to ensure the continuous security of the organisation in line with Essential 8 ML3 and ISO 27001 Standards. You will be involved in both BAU activities as well as playing a key role in the cyber security uplift program.
- 12 month initial contract with the potential for 12 month extension
- Up to $100 per hour inc. super
- Hybrid working from any major capital city other than Darwin
- Implementation and management of technical controls including SIEM, SOAM, Vulnerability Management, MFA, PAM.
- Align said controls specifically to Essential 8 ML3 and ISO 27001 standards
- Perform regular vulnerability management scans using tenable and work with teams on appropriate remediations on found vulnerabilities.
- Monitor alerts and logs, responding to security incidents as required and performing incident response duties
